Pico Jano

Ana and Moi "dancing"
Pico Jano is a wee mountain based on the middle of Liébana Valley, a spot where you can look at all the beautiful mountains which surround Liébana. You can easily get to the top from a little village called Doberganes within an hour walking approximately, the views at that point really well worthy a visit.

Last Sunday Ana, Moi and I, maybe little tired from a busy week, decided to give it a go. It’s not too far from Santander and hour driving or so, there was no reason to get up too early. Eventually a quiet day became a really nice walk out with good company.

...Sometimes I forget that is good just to be out there.

Doberganes and the path way-up hill.

Reaching the top.

From the top you will see "Peña Vieja" (2613m) it is the highest mountain in Cantabria
